MARISOL - THE SPANISH TEACHER
My name is Marisol and I'm a native Spanish speaker from Veracruz Mexico--I've traveled around Mexico, the US, and Canada teaching Spanish and learning English and French!
I'm a certified Spanish teacher with the accredited school International House in Mexico City
I have years of teaching experience in both children in Mexico City and adults Mérida. I love to teach all ages and all levels.
MARISOL - THE STUDENT AND ARTIST
I went to school originally for scenic art and theatre, and still work as an artist regularly. I always bring creativity into my classes.
I'm a teacher who also knows what it's like to be a student. I've not only sat through boring language classes in English (so I know what doesn't work) but had amazing cultural-immersion experiences abroad (so I know how hard it can be, but also how amazing!)
I'm always attending workshops and classes in Mérida where I live, which is part of how I constantly improve my teaching.

In life we have basic necessities, and one is to communicate. But while learning a new language is important, it doesn't have to be a chore! Breaking through your old limitations and past borders is an adventure, whether it's using your new language to meet new people in your own country or to travel the world. Art, language, and adventure are how I share my world with others and how I experience the world around me--and I would love to share all of this with you.
